Anya always knew she was adopted. Despite the unconditional love she received growing up, she wanted to discover her past and find her destiny. She sets out on a journey to do just that. She is determined to find her past as well as her future.
Anya’s Journey –
She kneels next to them, not even trying to stop the tears. She touches the ground on each of the graves as if she could somehow make a connection to them. She wipes her tears and tries to recapture her analytical self, then she sees a small plaque between the graves. It is in black paint, obviously done by her adoptive mother. It says:
Born with love in their hearts, they lived their lives filled with love, passed the love to the newly born, as they gave their lives for love, and gave birth to love in others they never will meet.
She stared at the plaque, tears flowing, two people she would never know, two people she could feel in her heart, two people who gave her the opportunity to exist and pursue her own destiny. She would not let them down.
